Description
Transport yourself to the middle of the 1920s by visiting the Postal Museum and Forge shop. You will discover the importance of the roles played by the postmaster and blacksmith in the development of the parish. Those more curious, will learn about the traditional techniques of blacksmithing or observe the collection of objects and old tools that were used. In addition, they will learn about wool spinning, embroidery, soap making, etc. Your knowledge of this period of local history will surely increase. End your visit with a walk through the Heritage Park and the Peter Brown River Interpretive Site where you will discover the history of the first covered bridge in Abitibi.
